Hi, I’m Araeya!

 

As the Digital Marketing Intern at Peacetree Family Institute, I work alongside Emily to help facilitate community events, strengthen media strategy, and build meaningful connections throughout our local community. During the summer of 2026, my role includes managing social media across all platforms, producing the Peacetree Podcast, coordinating events and partnerships, and supporting the development of the Peacetree Foundation. Being originally from Elk River, this work feels especially meaningful to me. Community has always been an important part of my life, and I am grateful for the opportunity to give back to the place that helped shape me.

 

I am currently pursuing a degree in Marketing at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and plan to graduate in spring 2027. I have always enjoyed creativity and bringing people together, which made marketing feel like the perfect fit. After graduation, I hope to pursue a career in digital marketing that allows me to combine creativity with travel, as there are still so many places on my bucket list to explore!

 

When I’m not working or studying, I love spending time with the people I care about most, especially over good food (sushi is my favorite!). I enjoy staying social and involved, but I also value slowing down and making time for what matters most. Faith plays an important role in my life, and I strive to strengthen my relationship with Christ while staying grounded in the things that bring me joy, including spending time with kids, animals, and the people I love.
